AI POSTER WORKFLOW
How I make my AI posters.
You asked how I made the posters from my video. Here’s my exact workflow. No secret prompt, no ten-tool stack.
The only model I use
GPT Image 2.5
Nothing else. Every poster in my video came out of it.
The big idea
Never start from a blank prompt.
AI posters look bad when you type “make me a poster for my event” and hope for the best. They look good when the AI has something real to copy: a layout, a vibe, a font.
That’s the whole trick.
Two ways to do it.
Pinterest reference + Claude + dafont
- 1Find a reference on PinterestSearch the style you want and save the one whose look and feel matches your event.
- 2Pick your font on dafontFind a font that fits the mood and write down the name.
- 3Let Claude write the promptShow Claude the reference, tell it the event and the font, and ask for the prompt.
- 4Generate in GPT Image 2.5Paste the prompt, give it the same Pinterest reference, and run it.
- 5TweakSomething off? Tell Claude what to change, get a new prompt, run it again.
Inspo pictures + designs + Claude
- 1Collect your inspoA handful of pictures and designs you like. Posters, ads, layouts.
- 2Give them all to ClaudeUpload them, explain what you're making, and ask for one prompt that mixes the best of them.
- 3Run it in GPT Image 2.5Same as before. Claude's prompt goes in, and only GPT Image 2.5.
Copy. Paste. Done.
I'm making a poster for [your event]. I'm attaching a reference image. Write me a detailed prompt for GPT Image 2.5 that recreates this layout and feel for my event. Use this text exactly, spelled exactly like this: Title: [ ... ] Date: [ ... ] Location: [ ... ] Font: [font name from dafont] Keep it clean and minimal, with lots of space and no extra text.
Why they don’t look like AI posters.
01
Less text.
Title, date, place. Cram in more and it screams AI.
02
Real reference.
Copy a design that already works instead of letting the AI invent one.
03
Real font.
Pick it yourself on dafont and name it in the prompt.
04
Check spelling.
AI mangles words all the time. Read every line before you post.
That’s it. Reference in, Claude writes the prompt, GPT Image 2.5 makes the poster. If you make something with this, send it over.
