AVG / GDPR
Privacy notice
Last updated 7 October 2026. This notice explains how Kvetra handles personal data under the GDPR (AVG) and the Dutch Uitvoeringswet AVG.
1. Controller
The controller is Paul Keiren, trading as Kvetra, The Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce (KVK) 42101701. VAT ID NL005494971B08.
Email: paul.keiren@kvetra.com
No data protection officer is appointed. That is not required for this one-person studio.
2. What we collect, and what we don't
Quote form. Name, email address, the type of work you picked, your message, the time you sent it, that you confirmed you read this notice, and whether you ticked the optional updates box (it starts unticked). If you came from the quiz, also your company size, visitor type, type of business, goal, and “source: quiz”; otherwise those fields stay empty.
Quiz (/quiz). If you press Finish: your multiple-choice answers and the visitor type that follows from them (business, freelancer, or individual). For businesses: type of business, company size (number of people), and what you need. For freelancers: type of work and what you need, with company size set to “1 (solo)”. For individuals: experience level, goal, and how much you want to spend on AI tools per month in general (not with us). Also stored: the page you are sent to, and, only if you tick the updates box, your email address. If you leave the box unticked, your email is not saved. Netlify may also record technical data such as your IP address with the submission to filter spam. If you press “Skip”, nothing is saved.
Quiz hand-off in your browser. After Finish, your answers are also kept in this browser tab’s sessionStorage (not a cookie, never sent to us by itself) so the next page can use them: for businesses the quote form picks the matching service and attaches company size, visitor type, type of business, and goal as hidden fields, and the stored answers are removed after the quote is sent successfully; for individuals the learn page shows a matching recommendation. Closing the tab clears it. If you then send the quote form, those answers are part of that request.
Reference ID. A random reference ID (such as KV-7H3QXZ, not based on anything about you) links your quiz and quote in this tab; it is not used to track you across visits or sites, and nothing is kept after you close the tab.
Email. If you write to us directly, whatever you put in that email.
Visiting the site. The host keeps short technical logs (such as IP address, browser, page requested) to deliver pages and block abuse. The theme switch and your Vimeo choice are stored on your device only after you use them.
We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies. We do not sell personal data.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Replying to your quote request (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). Steps you asked for before a possible contract. The checkbox confirms you read this notice; it is not a marketing signup.
- Quiz answers (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). Saved only when you press Finish after reading the note on the quiz, to understand who visits and why, to prepare a follow-up on a business request, and to improve the guides and services. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
- Optional updates (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). Only if you tick the box on the quote form or the quiz. An unticked box means no updates and, on the quiz, no stored email. You can withdraw at any time by replying or emailing paul.keiren@kvetra.com.
- Vimeo films (GDPR art. 6(1)(a), Telecommunicatiewet art. 11.7a). Films show a still until you press play or allow Vimeo. You can withdraw on the cookie page.
- Legal duties (GDPR art. 6(1)(c)). Records that Dutch tax law requires us to keep.
- Running and securing the site (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). Host logs and the settings you chose.
4. Who processes it
- Netlify, Inc. (United States) hosts this website and stores quiz and quote-form submissions (Netlify Forms) as our processor, emails us a notification of each new submission, and keeps short server logs. Data can be processed outside the EU, including in the United States. See Netlify’s privacy policy.
- Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited) hosts the paul.keiren@kvetra.com mailbox where form messages and emails are kept, as our processor. Google may process data outside the EU, including in the United States.
- Vimeo.com, Inc. (United States), only after you press play or allow Vimeo. The embed asks Vimeo not to track you (dnt=1), but Vimeo still receives technical data such as your IP address to play the film. Vimeo decides on its own player cookies and is responsible for that itself.
- Links to Instagram, TikTok, and to tools on the learn page take you to other sites with their own privacy rules. Nothing is shared with them before you click.
Where data goes outside the EEA, the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and otherwise on the provider’s standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep it
- Quote requests with no follow-up: deleted within 12 months of last contact.
- If we work together: kept in the client file for the Dutch tax retention period (7 years).
- Quiz answers in Netlify Forms: deleted 12 months after you submit them.
- Email for updates (quote form or quiz): until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- Host logs: kept briefly by Netlify under its own retention rules.
- Vimeo and theme choice on your device: until you change it or clear site data.
6. Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of your data (including quiz answers) by writing to paul.keiren@kvetra.com. We reply within one month. Records the law requires us to keep are the only exception to deletion.
You have the right to complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl). Please write to us first so we can fix it.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
7. Security and children
The site and forms use HTTPS. Only Paul Keiren has access to the inbox. This site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
8. Cookies
See the cookie notice. There is no cookie banner because nothing non-essential loads until you choose it.
